£30-£40 for me. Currently working my way through local roaster recommendations from another thread but it’s taking a while because I order in 1kg packs.

Usually go for two americanos per day with a double shot in each one.

I’m hopeful but cautious.

For me the big issue with Starfield was the obsession with massive maps/worlds etc that were either empty or filled with junk. The travel system and loading screens also made the game as a whole completely disjointed.

The only reason I’m hopeful is the continuous map as opposed to content being spread way too thin on thousands of planets. If they get the content more dense then hopefully it’ll be at least half decent.

I’m totally with you on Bethesda / Microsoft trying to get the most money out of the least effort and that’s my biggest reason I’m not getting hyped for it. The goal for them is currently the most cash rather than making the best game possible. Annoyingly this has infected pretty much all big game studios these days. Ironically, that approach is better for the short term but horrendous for the long term outlook.

I’ll be sticking to the golden rule though: NO PREORDERS!

Used a Rancillio Silvia for a shot this morning but not quite dialled in yet, got about 30g in 30 secs but even still was quite a sweet brew. I was recommended the roaster from another thread on here and I’m slowly working my way through. Haven’t had a bad roaster yet really! I’m trying to aim for slightly darker side of medium and It’s hitting that nice middle ground petty well so far!

Not sure if they do international shipping (I’m in the UK) but it’s probably better going local any way. Here’s the website if you want to check them out: https://www.podda-wren.co.uk/

There is such a great message about scientific method and using critical thinking skills in the modern day.

Anything by the sounds providers is my jam. The album with surreal is great, although I do prefer “an evening with the sound providers”.

It’s kinda chill hop but a bit more jazzy.

I’m so sick of click bait.

It is! Pretty straight forward to install, but there's a part in the instructions which mentions "be careful and don't lose this screw into the group head as it will be a real pain to sort". I would highly reccomend sticking to that instruction...unfortunately I didn't!

For me roasting your own beans is a case of “easy to do, difficult to master”. It’s a great hobby dont get me wrong, but the way this post is phrased makes it seem like you’ll be getting amazing results from the get go.

There’s a huge amount of trial and error and even with the best will in the world you might not be able to come close to what a local roaster can provide.

Trying Square mile’s Thirika Kenyan coffee this week in the Aeropress. First time and it’s a really unique flavour! Would love to hear thoughts on these beans or Kenyan coffee in general!
