One of the first questions you get asked is "where are you from", and if you can't pass for looking and sounding like a German native then the next question is "where are you really from?".

He has been accused of desecrating a South Korean monument to women subjected to sexual slavery in World War II.
He was attacked by koreans, live streaming his acts and him being attacked, and has recently plead guilty in court and faces a mandatory prison sentence and banned from leaving the country.
