Breakfast with a side of bioterrorism, depending on the type of species.

Andrey Gurulyov, a Russian lawmaker and retired major general, said in a televised interview in Russia on August 8 that the country's military knew about Ukraine's plans to attack Kursk a month before it happened.

"But from the top came the order not to panic, and that those above know better," Gurulyov said, according to a translation by The New York Times.

"So we staffed it with the greenest of recruits, and left it practically defenseless!"

Lmao, I'm sure they knew. Riiiiight xD

Not downvoting you, but what on earth would need a SQL server to use suspension? It would be far too slow for real-time applications, and this isn't a rolls royce engine on a jet generating 1tb of data a second when all sensors are active and logging.

This is a mall-mobile that someone will probably total in a power center parking lot in Arizona.

Lol, good luck with that. I'll stuck with my dumb, subscription-less and app-less ebike. And still manage to beat cars due to insane traffic.

Meeting people via clubs, activities, and friendships is the key to success these days.

Sounds like the Philippine ships need some reactive armor in case the Chinese coast guard have additional difficulties steering their ships in a controlled fashion. The Chinese and Russian air force and navies seem to have considerable issues with avoiding collisions.

Red rescue team, if you haven't played a pokemon mystery dungeon game before. I played the DS version (blue rescue team) and loved it.

Deep sea mining is wayyyy too risky. There needs to be much more research before we wreck an ecosystem that supports the entire planet.

Hmm, they shut down the 48 patients suffering from odd neurodegerative diseases in 2021....

Marrero told me that since the province concluded its investigation, things had gotten worse. The number of undiagnosable patients currently under his care has risen to more than 430, 111 of whom are under age 45. Thirty-nine have died. By Marrero’s accounting, New Brunswick is now the center of one of the most prolific young-onset dementia clusters in the world. “Nobody who was involved in this can pretend they didn’t know,” he said.

What the fuckkk. :/

If your takes are so bad that you are at a high risk of being domed by your own crowds, why bother even running?

For context, a water main blew, and the city of Calgary has been under strict water rationing for the past handful of days. The new pipe should arrive later this week from California :)

It's pretty cool that the government has a department that can delicately extract damaged money and return new bills to people. I wish this article went into the process of how they do it!

They found a plant thought to be exinct in the area, and got super excited when they found it. Seeds have been forwarded to a seed bank. The article is worth a read and is fairly short :)

They found a plant thought to be extinct in the area. The article and people involved are extremely excited about their work. Well worth the read!

It was a very unlikely win. Some, if not all players on this team have day jobs.

Sweet :)

Hopefully, some of these get added along dangerous intersections in south and west Seattle. UW could also use some.

Looking for more plants to keep a lid on hair algae! I do water changes, but I think more plants would help.

Even the SC didn't want to put up with his nonsense.

Was it super challenging? Surprisingly easy? What was your tank like?
