I don't think the device decides if your touch controls work. I'm sending my Sennheiser CX's back because the left bud does no longer respond to touch.

In any event, it seems like you need Bluetooth Avcrp Transport drivers, maybe Linux doesn't come with that.

Yeah by the time Win10 is deprecated I am hoping Linux is more suited towards my needs anyway. There's little sense in going open source and staying with Windows. It's well past its prime.

That's big. Congrats!

I gotta say it's getting harder and harder for me to keep to my sobriety. But I've come to terms with that 'not drinking' to me means I no longer want to get drunk. I'll keep telling myself I can keep this up until I am a daily drinker again...

But reading these kinds of posts gives me a big boost of inspiration and being subscribed to this community makes it easier to not slip.

I'm not using ublock origin, Vivaldi has built-in ad blocking. If I were to switch, I'd switch to Ladybird

Yeah I'm holding out for that dude who built a new browser from the ground up and made it fully open source. It's called Ladybird.

Me but Vivaldi and Adnauseam.io.

Ads are a dystopian nightmare but for some reason nobody seems to care

Push up by Freestylers

They haven't fooled me yet. They're actually fairly easy to spot.

I also read they started doing this in some American state and it raised 1.8 billion dollars. If this idea appeals to you, try to find out if there are any petitions in your country that suggest something like this. If you're from the Netherlands, the SP has a petition like this.

That rather depends on where you live. In my country it's been outlawed in construction since 1993. But it's still present in a lot of homes before that time.

Asbestos gets a bad rep. As long as you don't break it apart it's perfectly safe to have in your home. It does wonders for insulation, fire prevention, it's super sturdy... You just shouldn't drill holes in it or break stuff off.

You may not have liked it but at least you played it... Right?

Looking to upgrade my trusty 1070Ti. I use my pc for RPGs (Borderlands, Hogwarts Legacy) , VR fps (Alyx, Arizona Sunshine) and VR simracing (F1 23).

Deciding between ASUS Dual 4070 (@ €600) or ASUS TUF 7800XT.

Benchmarks don't really tell the whole story because they rarely include DLSS3, but the games I play don't really support that anyway. TUF is a better cooler, but bulkier.

I can also just not buy anything and wait for the 4070 Super to come along.

Thoughts?
