For today’s generation of children, his voice will be instantly familiar as that of Grandpa Pig, in the Peppa Pig series.

Previously, for nearly two decades he created the sound of the evil Daleks in the long-running sci-fi show Doctor Who – adopting a staccato style and then feeding his voice through a synthesiser.

Jo Martin and Alice Krige star in a brand-new box set of full-cast audio drama due to be released in January 2025, as the long-awaited Fugitive Doctor lands at Big Finish Productions.

Starting today and running until October 1st at 12pm PT, you can log in to the Promotions Tab of the Zen Store and claim two new Lower Decks inspired cosmetic items, the Vulcan Visor and the Vulcan Bob Hairdo!

No idea - these things are often cast under code names, at least when it comes to TV and film, so it could be really hard to determine.

I'd say this is set up to be Kinew's first big policy failure, but I'm not sure whether it will stick.

The fact that opposition to the plan is fuelled by conspiracy nutjobs suggests that the Tories won't do much to oppose Kinew's decision, despite the fact that the plan was put together under the Pallister government.

Not enough knives.

I wonder if it will amount to a whole lot of nothing, with the municipalities that "opted out" complying with 99% of what's covered by the agreement anyway.

Yeah, the "audio adventures" description threw me a bit.

The Susan Twist narration for one of them is fun, though.

Yeah, I think Tilly and Vance can serve to "pass the torch" just fine, though I'm excited at the possibility that the other characters could pop up at any time.

And how would that be nostalgia-free?

Believe me, I am extremely aware.

Ironically, The Daily Show has moved to Paramount+ along with the rest of Trek (also ironically, with the exception of Prodigy).

So what you want is Star Trek that...had nothing to do with Star Trek, because literally anything using the title, concept, or characters will be, by definition, "built on nostalgia." Got it.

For sure - I'm certain the supplements will be useful even with the 2E rules.
