GNU/Linux is about 100x more painful than Android...
I mean they just replace Google with their own Chinese data-mining services so, no, not cool.

The settings are way too complicated and defaults are not intuitive. Took me forever to figure out how to purge old downloads I hadn't listened to. Constant errors when trying to download. Does not want to play video podcasts as audio-only.
I'm expressing my dissatisfaction with the product just like you're expressing your dissatisfaction with my preference. You're not the only one entitled to that.

Doesn't matter, you don't need the UI. You just connect it to AntennaPod or other supported client(s).
It's not an after thought. It's a mod. You can't mod it to have rear doors and windows, that would require a complete redesign of the entire vehicle.
