Proposed Features:

1. Ability for Moderators to Edit Communities: It would be incredibly useful if moderators could perform administrative tasks for the communities they manage directly from the Connect for Lemmy app. This could include:
   • Editing community information (e.g., sidebar text, community rules, descriptions, etc.).
   • Managing community settings (visibility, posting rules, allowed content types, etc.).
   • Deleting or archiving a community if necessary.

Other third-party apps, such as Summit for Lemmy, have implemented similar functionality, and it would be great to see Connect for Lemmy adopt this feature as well. This would streamline the moderation process and eliminate the need to switch to a desktop or web browser for these administrative tasks, similar to when Reddit allowed Mods/users to manage their subreddits via the Reddit App.

2. Ability to Create Communities from the App: Adding the ability for users to create new communities directly from the app would make Connect for Lemmy even more versatile. Many users rely heavily on mobile apps for their Lemmy experience, and this feature would make community-building a seamless experience for mobile-first users.

Benefits of These Features:

• Convenience: Moderators and admins can manage their communities on the go without the need for a desktop or browser.
• Efficiency: Reduces friction for users who often switch between the app and the web interface to perform administrative tasks.
• Feature Parity: Bringing these features to Connect for Lemmy ensures it stays competitive with other third-party apps like Summit for Lemmy.

Potential Implementation:

• The app could use the Lemmy API to perform these tasks, which should already support community moderation and creation functions.
• A section in the app’s interface dedicated to “Admin”, "Moderator Management",“Community Management”, etc. for moderators could house these features and ensure a smooth user experience.

I personally believe that adding these community management tools would take the app to the next level and enhance the experience for moderators and creators alike.

So, I don't know if such a fic exists, but I had this idea so i wanted to share it with you.

So basically it goes as follows.

Dark/evil Harry in slytherin.

Harry is evil because he gets fed up with the Dursley's treatment, so the moment he learns about magic and how to use it, he gets revenge on them, Harry also doesn't like muggles all that much as well.

Hermione is in Gryffindor, but is bullied/ ostracized due to the absence of Harry.

Hermione is still a good person at heart though.

In 1st year Harry starts taking notice of Hermione when he stumbles upon her crying by herself in an abandoned classroom, but doesn't talk to her much or do anything besides maybe a few words throughout the whole year, however he relates to her because of him getting bullied by dudley.

In 2nd year nothing much happens besides the chamber of secrets opening, Harry is the main culprit and is ostracized by 99% of Hogwarts, but he doesn't really care.

Hermione starts taking notice of the way Harry is ostracized and he deals with it.

3rd year is where things truly start, one time Hermione is getting ganged on by a few girls from Ravenclaw in a classroom and Harry is walking by.

He notices and helps her by hexing/cursing the girls.

Hermione becomes extremely taken with Harry.

Later in the year she confronts him when he's alone and confesses to him.

And things pick up from here.

Basically hermione is willing to do anything to be with Harry, she's extremely dependent on him.

While harry doesn't like muggles, he finds Hermione an exception.

This is basically the prompt.

I yapped a lot lol.

But if anyone is interested in writing a fic on this, it would be great!
