OP, just trying to understand and learn. Why are all your posts fear and rage inducing? All your posts are less than two days old and all of them are articles about problematic topics.
This might not help you OP, but alternative to VISA and Mastercard is UPI. India and some south east asian countries use that for transactions rapidly. Also India also built Rupay (not the currency) to break visa and mastercards duopoly.

You’re right! But the hype exists. It will reach peak for the four months post the launch, creating fomo. Peer pressure with such launches are a human problem
