Why is their sense of national unity tied to the success of an industry? Will PEI vote to separate because Canadians aren't eating enough potatoes?

I believe that candidates should have to be permanent residents of their riding. In this case, they picked a riding where the locals will probably be happy to have Poilievre.

This is poor vs rich, not young vs old. The whole evil boomer thing just misdirects our anger.

Fluoride can be bad for you, just at much higher doses than they put in water supply. It can cause issues with bones and neurological development. Again, only in very high doses over a long time. It happens a lot in poorer countries where they can't treat well water.

The author and a conservative source both overheard a confession from someone at a bar. That's not really solid evidence in my opinion. They weren't even willing to name the people who made the confession. Name them and force them to respond. Get some video from the conference proving they were in attendance. Do some kind of investigation. This just feels like half a story.

It happened to me on Ubuntu. VLC and Jellyfin would both get screen tearing. Games were fine though. After some research, I found that turning on 'force full composition pipeline' in the Nvidia settings fixed it. Still too new to understand the how and why.

You are right about trying to be power users. I switched to Linux recently and definitely struggled with my sudden reduction is understanding. I got everything I needed for gaming setup up in a few hours. Then I tried to set up some productivity workflows and slammed into a brick wall of my own ignorance. I definitely considered just going back to Windows.

I just made the jump to Ubuntu. You don't need a Steam Deck or Steam OS. Steam works just as well on any Linux OS. Proton is the real star because it deals with the compatibility issues so well.

I just set up an Ubuntu dual boot last week. Valve has really made Linux gaming easy. Just one checkbox to enable Steamplay. I don't see myself going back to Windows any time soon. Good luck with Mint.
