Unfortunately not, it hasn't been updated in many years now :(

I've never installed it myself, I've only used it on the instances that offer it, such as my home instance at slrpnk.net.

This was the major plot point of an old web comic I used to read, Mare Internum (warning, attempted suicide on page one). I'm sure the creator is quite happy with this news.

The linearity was a bonus for me, but it was sorta openish, at least in the sense you could visit Lucas burtone on the way to/from missions to get little side quests to steal new faster cars.

That was a fun review, I like the style you went for with it!

I played this back in the day on the 360, which didn't seem to have the bugs you encountered. I recall having a pretty good time with it, and it was short enough not to overstay its welcome. The jumping mechanics and training for it were unique at the time, and I thought it was a nice twist on the WWII formula.

The lacking narrative (or at least, I don't remember one, or any characters) hurt it, as it felt sort of like I was playing a multiplayer game alone at times.

I also thought it was neat how the sniper rifles were more accurate/less wobbly if you slowly squuezed the analog trigger, I'm not sure I've seen that elsewhere.

But yeah, good review, I'd honestly enjoy reading more from you.

After the last two games and the remake, I'm not hopeful. The new devs never got what made the original special, despite its flaws.

Hell yeah man! Getting involved and pushing past our internal boundaries is key to a better future. I'm genuinely glad to hear that video had a positive impact on you, makes sharing them all the more rewarding :D

Absolutely, I consider Bluth's The Secret of NIMH to be an absolute masterpiece (also recommend the book it was based on, btw. Goes in a very different direction, and was compelling even as an adult).

I can see how it might not be to everyone's taste, but this and Treasure Planet I think really nailed the mix of 2D with 3D (treasure planet did it a bit more elegantly, though).

One style of animation that I do find unpleasant is the earlier fully 3D stuff that lives in the uncanny valley, like the first few Final Fantasy movies. Though weirdly I find the even older and more primitive 3D style reminiscent of old MTV music videos, like Reboot to be somewhat charming.

As this is a free w/ ads youtube upload, it sadly will not play on mobile browsers with an adblocker, and will force you to use the Youtube app so you have to sit through the damnable ads.

However, this movie can be played ad-free on desktop browsers with an adblocker (I recommend Firefox or Librefox with Ublock Origin).

Movie Description: A sprawling epic of family, faith, power and oil, THERE WILL BE BLOOD is set on the incendiary frontier of California’s turn-of-the-century petroleum boom. The story chronicles the life and times of one Daniel Plainview (Daniel Day-Lewis), who transforms himself from a down-and-out silver miner raising a son on his own into a self-made oil tycoon.

When Plainview gets a mysterious tip-off that there’s a little town out West where an ocean of oil is oozing out of the ground, he heads with his son, H.W. (Dillon Freasier), to take their chances in dust-worn Little Boston. In this hardscrabble town, where the main excitement centers around the holy roller church of charismatic preacher Eli Sunday (Paul Dano), Plainview and H.W. make their lucky strike.

But even as the well raises all of their fortunes, nothing will remain the same as conflicts escalate and every human value – love, hope, community, belief, ambition and even the bond between father and son – is imperiled by corruption, deception and the flow of oil.

Good find! I always loved the art style of the animation on this one.

Ayyy! :D

I didn't realize I'd been contributing that much there, glad to have helped it thrive! Thanks for the mention ^^
