Those who are using Nvidia's driver 555, what's your experience in Wayland so far? Those who are using it in conjunction with KDE 6.1, what's your experience with multi-monitor VRR in Wayland? in c/linux@lemmy.ml

I've decided due to running into issues as well, that my system being built on x11 for a few years means I probably wont switch to wayland until I do a fresh install to avoid any potential issues around old x11 packages i'm running

I seem to be in the unpopular opinion camp with this, but I actually really like it. I am a huge fan of the gyro+stick combo with touch capacitance, and this is the only controller to release with that steam deck touch capacitance feature. Biggest criticism I have for it is the lack of vibration, but im optimistic about this controller

What are some things that Linux can't do, but Windows can? in c/asklemmy@lemmy.ml

Biometric login. It is available to an extent through fprint on Linux but support is not there for all hardware and it isn't a very seamless experience to setup at the moment
