Did anyone try this on real hardware yet? Is it made to perform well on the GameCube or does it really only work well in emulators?

Edit: I just tried it out and it works great on a real GameCube.

For anyone finding this issue on Google in 10 years or something:

I didn't completely fix the issue yet but it's definitely related to my digital AV adapter. Some settings related to the sync rate can cause this issue from time to time and switching it on and off in the settings of the adapter can alleviate the issue.

Depending on what kind of content you’re into, you could try browsing through nebula‘s offerings. They’re sorted by categories and most of it is high-quality content.

You cannot watch the videos there without a subscription but almost all of the creators have YouTube channels too.

For some reason I missed the „fake“ too lol

Yeah but it seems like public transport is always the skeleton at the ocean floor meme in these discussions. Good public transport would make cities more livable and reduce pollution dramatically and reduce our dependence on petrostates.

Sure, it’s not feasible everywhere but at least here in Germany it’s pretty good for regional transport in towns and cities but always feels kinda disregarded and forgotten by politicians.

It‘s unlikely to be a loose connection. I‘m using the digital port of the GameCube with a GCVideo adapter to HDMI. I also tried replugging it when this issue occurred, just in case some sync signal got out of whack but the issue persists :/

This is quite a late reply obviously but now I'm curious if you found a GameCube in the meantime.

I got mine from a local Telegram group where people sell used stuff. So depending on where you live, a similar platform might get you a good deal. I paid 40€ for mine including a controller which I thought was quite affordable.

Recently got a cheap Gamecube and now I‘m playing through Windwaker and some Double Dash every now and then. It’s insane how good the games still look that support progressive mode through the digital port.

Seriously 90s Windows design is actually pretty good in my opinion. Does a great job conveying functionality through shadows and highlights.

The serial port made a really good video about it recently. This channel is pretty amazing for early internet content.

Haha yeah I already ordered an SD2SP2 V2.0 in desperation

What happened? As far as I‘m aware, they’re not being sold yet. This project just seems to drag on indefinitely
