Hehe, I've been going around the past week or so (still mostly stealthing) with shaved arms, legs, and painted nails, and despite a couple of double-takes, nobody even commented. (Actually a bit disappointed...)

just trying to do what you think is attractive

Oh yeah, that's been a total brain-melt for me too. I think I'm starting to see a difference between "be her" and "be with her" attraction, but so far I've just been trying things out at random :)

I forget where it was, but I saw some photos recently of plus-size models (proportionally larger than me, I think) who were wearing skirts really well. Apparently there's some idea of "dressing for body shape" which I guess I need to figure out...

Fashion be damned, I'm gonna wear a skater skirt and stripy socks at least once.

Woo, that's encouraging :) I really like the photo in the CG doc; hopefully I can get something similar.

The hairdresser tidied it up for me (I think they got the idea that I really do want to grow it all out), but it's looking pretty masculine still. I guess I'll wait a few months and bring a picture next time!

Thank you (^-^)

Cool, Shea Moisture seems to be available where I am - I'll check it out!

Thank you! I guess I can't avoid the hairdresser for ever - I've been dreading the "yes, I actually do want it to look girly" conversation.

Looks like the CG method and moving off my current "don't care" brand shampoo is a good place to start. Here's to some experimentation :3

Disaster incoming...

No (that's the joke), but part of me thinks that would make more sense than distinguishing people based on whether their AGAB matches what they currently identify as.

Better than I could put it, thanks!

The joke is using twisted logic to avoid identifying as trans. As I understand it, cis/trans usually refers to same/different identified gender vs that assigned at birth. Instead, we're saying "well I'm a girl now, which matches what I wanted, no need to call myself trans"

Does that help? I'm very new to this myself...
