I had the opposite reaction. When i got a prescription, I went from 1080p to 4k. I could see and read just fine, but I can't see fine details.

Then I could see all the pores and blemishes on people's faces, and it was kinda frightening. For someone to see that their whole life, it's probably normal, but for me, it's like people were wearing uncanny masks, and I couldn't get used to it.

Also, glasses gave me a headache like no other.

Hello, I've been working on this TTRPG since I played my first TTRPG years ago. My goal for it is to be fun with some resource management, very sandboxy, and accessible to new TTRPG players.

I have a 1-shot prepared, but havent had a chance to run it yet. I would also like to start a campaign that lasts a while where we can develop the rules together through playtesting.

I would hope they were impregnated naturally, and if so, the calves are added to the mix when they are old enough, or traded with other farms to prevent inbreeding

I cant cut it out of my diet cold turkey. As kids, we are given food and told to eat it. Also, we dont yet have enough vegetarian options that satisfy the same needs.

In another life, I'd be a vegetarian. I think farming milk and eggs (but not with industrial level abuse) is fine.

I still eat meat, but I'm aware of the meat industry. I would love if we could thrive on lab-grown meat (where we are only killing cells) rather than the current (killing animals). Now that we're no longer eating animals purely for survival, we shouldn't be taking advantage of lesser beings.

Imagine if aliens came to earth and harvested us for food. We can beg and plead, but to the alien minds, who are much more intelligent to us, they interpret our cries as joy.

"Refuse to vote neither"

So you're voting both then, I see.

There was a music compilation album called "Ultimate Dance" from 2004 that my family listened to. I maintain a YouTube Playlist with all the songs, some were difficult to track down, being that they are all published before 2004, and many are not of English origin.

Incorrect. It's not a disorder or dysfunction. It's a sexual attraction type just like gay or straight, and I would appreciate some respect, instead of this archaic "you're just sick"

As someone who is Asexual and been in relationships, I've still not had sexual attraction to my partners, and still had oxytocin highs.

James Veitch

I'm unbiased towards the subject. I'm genuinely curious about how long-term FOSS ideology would work.

I'm using FOSS but I'd still consider myself a casual user. It seems like most FOSS I've seen is a free, buggy, alternative to mainstream software, which resolves a problem the user had.

From my perspective, (and do correct me if I'm wrong) FOSS doesnt seem sustainable. Everyone can contribute, but how do they make a living? My guess is they do other things for income. And what about the few contributors who do 90% of the work?

What if every software became FOSS? Who would put in the free labor to write the software to print a page, or show an image on screen, or create something more complex like a machine learning advanced AI software?

Would it simply be that everyone provides for each other? Everyone pitches in? What about people who have bills to pay? Would their bills be covered?

This concludes my right-before-bed psychology inquiry.

What is the best skill you possess that makes you stand above the average person?

Hello!

I'm a novice player looking for a group. I can build a character and play the game just fine, but I'm still learning and will have questions. I'm open to DND 5E or your homebrew game (I'll need time to learn it, and I will probably have lots of questions).

I'm currently free every night except Tuesday. I'm open to 1-shots, short campaign, or long campaign (fresh start or mid-join up to level 5). I'm in PST, so I can join anything from PST to EST.

I enjoy campaigns with some sandbox, but with a defined goal or mission. I enjoy DMs that can paint a picture in my mind. (These are not deal-breakers.)

I don't like DMs who charge through areas, or give us too much information: "If you were to look in that well, you'd see..." or "Are you going to check out this (unassuming) wall over here?" (Also not deal-breakers, but I will probably not start another campaign).

Bonus points:

  • Zombies / Zombie homebrew
  • PVP stat checks, but not PVP combat (when it's tasteful and not abused)
  • Good improv and fun people

Deal-breakers:

  • Unfair screen time or players controlling the campaign
  • Extreme themes (Rape, slavery, child murder/abuse)
  • Sex RP (I'm ok with PDA, romance, touching, etc. I'm not here for horny)
  • Inconsistent playtimes and/or Frequent missed sessions (I'm totally fine with adjusting by 1 hour before or after, I'd rather do that than cancel or shorten a session. I also understand that life happens, and each person has their reasons for missing a session. I don't like when we miss 4-6 weeks in a row because 1 or 2 people have stuff going on every session. I have a hard time catching up and getting back in character when that much time passes.)

I'm also open to niche themes:

  • Anthro / furry (or anything in-between)
  • Anime
  • Cyberpunk
  • etc.
