I dumped all my us stocks as soon as Trump was getting warmed up, I won't be going back for some years irrespective of perceived returns potential

I had assumed this was referring to the case years back of Elon Musk calling a British guy that was trying to help rescue some children from a submerged cave in the Philippines a "pedo".

He was naturally sued about it but somehow avoided rightful punishment by claiming that he didn't mean literally and it was a phrase used all the time in South Africa.

Twat waffle is a phrase we use all the time in my country. We use it whenever Elon is mentioned.

I've been using this for a few months, it's very good... or maybe I should say "muy bueno"

I found it remarkable at the time how uncomfortable Trump looked being in the front of a car, like it was foreign to him

How's it compare to lemmy thou please? Same principal but better executed? Better content? More content?

I believe rhyming slang was only in a small part of London, not many coal mines in London

What's the significance of "hegel" please? I've not encountered it before

But that's not backpacking. It's a journey without those limits to allow you freedom to change your mind.

I didn't do it much but when I backpacked I tended to avoid public transport (hitch hiking) and would often just sleep in a city park or railway station. Different times now but it was part of the journey

She strikes me as someone who says controversial things to remain relevant.

Reminds me of one we had over here, I intentionally don't remember her name but like Piers Morgan but less relevant.

Always chuckle at went on TV saying she hates people calling their children after places.... and her daughter was called India.

Ok, hit me with ideas please. I can't afford to double the cost but am prepared to pay extra for European cat food, both dry and wet.

Anyone found good options? I'm in the UK which may limit my options

Only just taken it up, came from tennis so I'm a reasonable level (3.5ish).

I'm keen to play when I'm on holiday in Spain and wondered what people felt was the best way of approaching this.

Do I email the nearest club and ask them to set me up with some of their club members? Or maybe just focus on 1-2-1 coaching? (would that even work or would you need a pair to do coaching?).

Is there an app in Spain where you advertise to have a game? I think playtomic is meant to be but doesn't seem too active.

We're at a kids resort so I thought to ask the resort to try to organise but I don't think they'll want to be doing this just to entertain me lol

Any other ideas appreciated
