I dunno man. She barely broke a billion dollars on the eras tour after Biden. Surely this will be the one to completely ruin her.

Careful dude. The small intestine is weak and dumb. But that large one? It's sneaky. Just been biding it's time until it strikes. You open that window and you might not be able to close it.

My company made $5.5 billion profit in 2023. Last week we were told inflation is simply hitting us too hard for any raises for the 2nd year in a row.

I had a huge scholarship of about 70% that I was incredibly proud of. I STILL came out with debt about 670% more than my father without any assistance at all. And that's adjusted for inflation too! I'm ancient now so the price I paid is way cheaper than the poor bastards now. It's insanity.

Some of them are actually smart and brilliant people and you can have excellent discussions with them. Others are just promoting some political agenda, and others are deep in their personal crisis and you can only listen to their hurt

Lol this applies to virtually every single possible subset of people current and past in some form.

Just a reminder that the us had the most confirmed covid cases in the world, most confirmed covid deaths in the world, and the 13th highest rate of covid deaths in the world (worse than 92% of the rest of the world!). Oh and in 2019 Oregon just barely avoided having the US lose its "eradicated" status for measles which would make the US the only developed nation in the world to do so. Astoundingly the reason as to why these things happened was in question but surely record amounts of people remaining unvaccinated wasn't a contributing factor. And surely having a president suggest such dynamite and wildly effective cures such as hydroxychloroquine, bleach, or literally suntanning your internal organs rather than a vaccine didn't have any effect whatsoever.

The Ohio senator was asked by a journalist what can be done to stop school shootings. He said further restricting access to guns, as many Democrats advocate, won’t end them, noting they happen in states with both lax and strict gun laws. He touted efforts in Congress to give schools more money for security.

I always find this weird because it just completely glosses over the possibilities of A) the restrictions not really doing anything/enough, B) the incredible ease by which someone can just... Go to another state, and C) how absurdly easy it is to purchase firearms in the secondary market.

In the article he calls for bolstering security at schools. Which I always find funny because what if.... And this is a wild idea... But what if there's a shooting at a location other than a school? Not to mention that studies have shown that the presence of armed guards in schools doesn't actually do much to deter shootings.

Do you honestly think, in the history of humankind, there's never been someone brilliant with super low confidence? Hell, even competent with uncertainty counts as imposter syndrome.

I know countless people that are amazing at something but are super unsure of themselves or don't believe the product of their work is that good.

I, on the other hand, am actually a dumbass.
