Thanks for the thoughtful response, but the follow up question is obvious: why only 20 per year?

There are over 19,000 FDA approved drugs, and 50 more are added each year. It's going to take a couple hundred years to catch up at this rate.

Even if your cartoonish depiction of the Taliban was true, it is not a good justification for the US to freeze all of the bank accounts in Afghanistan.

It's weird that you would assume something incorrect like that, when you can just google it and find that the money was

the reserves of Afghanistan’s commercial banks and ordinary people’s savings

It's literally the business and personal savings of the Afghani people, inaccessible to them for over 2 years now.

Why did we stop at 10?

This should happen with every drug.

I downvote it everytime because of its rightwing bias.

If you say the mainstream corporate news is center left, you're either stupid or you have a right wing agenda.

They wasted their supermajority by passing a right wing healthcare bill.

Instead of ending the wars as promised, they did a troop surge.

They bailed out wall street while doing little to help working americans.

It would be better to have war crimes trials to show how fucked up specific wars are.

Being able to make movies showcasing your past crimes is not a sign of a healthy society..

But Clarkson wasnt just ignorant, he was actively spreading ignorance.

He was out there telling all the kids that 6 x 5 = 40.

Now it looks like he might have realized that 6 x 5 is actually 30. If he wanted to be an adult and try to do better, he would be posting about how he was wrong, posting apologies, and positively affirming that 6 x 5 = 30. I dont see him doing any of these things.

And Officer Kevin Dave, who drove 74mph in a 25mph residential zone without sirens when he hit Jaahnavi in a crosswalk, is still employed by the Seattle Police Dept.

causing them to cancel it.

They didn't cancel his NATO press conference. This is the press conference where Biden referred to his Vice President as "Vice President Trump".

I'm a little surprised that this comment has gotten so many upvotes.

Would you apply this same logic to the real world? For example, imagine if a manufacturing facility for Lockheed Martin or General Dynamics was bombed and thousands of working class Americans died. These people are building bombs that are being used in an ongoing genocide.

Would you consider this a heinous terrorist act, or a noble strike in the fight for freedom?
