Reddit would then sue for plagiarism.

A simple fix to make it more transparent : replace the blue check by a 🪙 or 💵. Now, the blue check just represent paid users.

https://www.arcom.fr/nos-ressources/espace-juridique/decisions/decision-du-17-janvier-2024-portant-sanction-pecuniaire-lencontre-de-la-societe-c8

There are PFAS in products used in drilling for oil and gas.

There's a group which track sites where these are used https://www.fractracker.org/2021/07/mapping-pfas-forever-chemicals-in-oil-gas-operations/

Colorado recently banned them for oil and gas extraction https://cen.acs.org/environment/persistent-pollutants/Colorado-bans-PFAS-oil-gas-extraction/100/web/2022/06

This piecemeal approach, state by state, sector by sector, seems odd and inefficient. If PFAS are dangerous these should be banned nationwide for all sectors.

Same goes for carbon pricing, it ought to be priced and high enough in all sectors, everywhere, to be most effective at curving pollution from fossil fuel.

A suggestion: disable it by default, and show a prompt and warning to Meet users asking if they want to enable this Meet extension, while warning them this would allow more tracking from Google.

Neither. I use a chromium package from my linux distribution.

It has many patches on top of the upstream chromium. That probably explain why that unwanted feature isn't there.

This issue appear on Google Chrome for Windows on my other machine. Just uninstalled it, never used it anyway.

Absolutely. This should go into the old woman yell at cloud category.

Cannot reproduce on chromium. Has anyone reproduced it?
