I'm wondering if AI can already solve this. I'm not even some crazy AI fanboy, I'm just thinking about the possibility of predictive AI being able to interpret compression artifacts to determine what forms would collapse into a particular pattern.

the reason why they're doing this and the reason why it probably won't save the product line are the same: the only reason people were buying Amazon TV devices and smart displays was to side load apps

I'm actually disappointed that it took so long for the strikes to start, and that they mostly seem to be fizzling out. For as important as it is, teaching has become one of the worst jobs imaginable. There will come a breaking point and, if teachers want to save the profession, they need to get ahead of it. Already, when other jobs pay more for less work, many are choosing to leave the field quietly.
