Sorry I missed this. Now that I've had time to reflect, I misspoke. What felt like a bias at the time boils down to Trump fact checking. They could've spent the whole 90 min focusing on his BS.

I'm all in. It's on the Nov ballot here in Colorado.

Trying to setup dnscrypt-proxy on my personal laptop. I tend to think I things are more complicated, so I went down the rabbit hole searching for all manner of issues and setup guides. It's not hard.... RTFM

I'm feeling a bias here towards Kamala. I'm behind her all the way, but a bias is NOT going to help the dems cause. I'm sure anyone who is fully behind Trump has turned this off by now, but I think some undecided voters will see the bias and bail on the only logical choice for President. Bias will make Trump a martyr to them.

Trump is terrible.

Haha, thank you! I needed an LOL before the daily grind.

I 100% agree with BLM. It's not a no to Harris, but I am so effin' tired of getting nominees shoved down my throat. The DLC works for the people, not Kamela and Joe.

I mean.... They're not wrong. Why the hell would he go get curb stomped now instead of waiting until she's technically gotten the nomination?

It'd be fun to watch the beatdown, but I doubt it'll ever happen.

Sorry if I wasn't clear. My point is, I do not believe you can compel people to vote at all based on 'Trump bad'. They'll just stay home. I am not including people who regularly vote. If you want to get people in line to vote, there needs to be a more compelling candidate.

It sounds like we'll both find out who's right in Nov.

Just ... No. Of course Trump spews lies, what's changed over the last 10 years? Nothing. And he'll get his base to cast ballots.

What has changed is the capacity of President Biden to hold office. It is absolutely mind boggling how tone def Dem leadership is.

This election will be won by compelling undecideds and independent voters to cast a ballot, full stop. It's a fallacy to think these voters will be compelled purely on policy. Perception is reality, and the perception from any sane person after watching things unfold the last two weeks is that Biden is not fit to carry on as President. Period.

You want Trump to win? Keep Biden in the race. "Trump worse" messaging will blow up in their faces, just like it did with Hillary. We need a compelling alternative.

Once again, Jon Stewart hits the nail on the head...

Tips is good. I drink all kinds depending on mood. If you like cinnamon you need to try Harney and Sons Hot Cinnamon Spice.. I am addicted.

I also like to make sun tea in the summer, but I'm searching for the perfect tea for that. Local grocery has the usual Lousianne and Lipton.

I know, so cool. I am open to learning, but I am not sure I am in for that depth of education :)

One of the few things that differentiates the major distros is the package manager. I've been running void on my laptop for the last 3 years and love it. XBPS is super fast and easy to use. It has never left me with a broken system either. That said, I've got the itch to switch.

I am looking at rolling / up to date distros. I'm inclined to use CLI when available.

I've been considering Opensuse, but last time I used zypper it was painfully slow. Has it gotten any better?

I was thinking of trying Alpine, how is APK?

Not interested in *butu, but apt seemed okay.

What's your favorite and how does it behave?
