People in China don't have a good stock market to invest in to "diversify". They also don't have good government programs like social security. The only investments are houses, shops, or your kids. If you chose houses and the market crashes and your kid can't help, you're screwed and will likely end up on the street.

Shut down their access to computer stores and the power companies while you're at it. Only fair. No piracy without computers or power.
I use it and find it works just fine.

Just getting 30% of our income back from eliminating social security tax would probably help. Those "services" are a scam. My friend works in government. She gets yelled at if she works one minute past 4 and her entire job is to ensure all the money is spent, no matter how frivolously.
They always suggest MORE taxes to fix this and never suggest 0 taxes on middle class and poor. Why do poor and middle class people have to pay property and sales and income and social security tax? It's ridiculous.
The best way to get capital is to have connections with government officials and use their absolute power to give you advantages or just straight up give you money taken from taxpayers. Exploiting people for profit is actually not easy without government aid. Don't believe me? Go and try to hire someone to do something for you and see if you can exploit them and how much capital you can make off them. Let us know how it goes. Problem is, most people want fair compensation to do anything, so you just can't exploit them too well. They won't accept one penny less than they want. No, much easier to just have the government forcefully take their money through taxation and use your connections to get a piece of it.
