Somehow I missed what out of this world happened to result in some people stranded in space, and I thought it'd be fun/interesting to see how others describe what led to it.

I've been watching more shows from before 2020 and losing track of more recent ones, so I'm interested in what shows have been entertaining people lately.

What’s your purpose for doing so?

Curiosity, of course!

Could you provide an example image of the sort of tote bag you're mildly confused by?

Has anyone tried making a spinning wheel of people associated with communities looking to change moderators and letting it determine who takes on the responsibilities?

While sometimes logs aren't too difficult to follow, there's also often times they're inscrutable to those not in the weeds of their respective OS. So I was wondering if anyone around here might have some pointers to guides or the like for where to find, and help understanding, different system error logs.

On Windows there's Event Viewer to some extent, and on Linux I think it's typically /var/log (and some distros may have a GUI System Log Viewer?). Not sure of MacOS.

Thanks in advance for any replies with pointers to resources!

Only an existential crisis? What about existential crises?

Not really from a privacy concern, that's simply a bonus, more of a reliability/convenience interest. Even if internet/mobile internet is out for some reason, being able to easily text across local network would be nice.

For Windows/Android mainly, but crossplatform tools that include those are great too!

...Does anyone have data on how many people still use checks?

Will this grant us eyes within? Will the veils dissipate and reveal the world in itself?

Would you happen to know if it's available for purchase on any storefronts?

I know, I know, but haven't you wanted to jot down some pseudocode while out and about, formatted neatly, so you could pop it over to your main machine to turn into working code?

[...] I just want to point out that automating things that exist purely in the digital domain is far easier than automating things like ship breaking.

Not that you're saying otherwise, however isn't that even more of a reason more developers and resources should be allocated toward automating complex and risky physical processes?

Personally, when I'm looking around for different software, as someone that's in-between unfamiliar and familiar with tech: if it doesn't have an installer/executable/apk and only describes a way to build/compile from source, I have to imagine it wasn't intended for non-devs to start with.

Yet somehow I seem to find my way to software like that occasionally. 🤷‍♀️

While I agree, what might everyday people use to set up forums as relatively easily and cheaply as their Discord servers, and not have them riddled with ads or other clunky elements?

I'm pretty sure those that may have even been considering forums went to Discord because the only other options were more involved in terms of set up/maintenance and cost, the latter to get something without ads.

Is it Chrome that shows a smiley? I could have swore it showed the infinity symbol after a certain number, but I may be confusing it with Firefox. 😂
