Even I, master of nothing, can crop an image.

Fucking photoshop master over here

I have auditory processing issues, and until I saw that scene with captions, I thought he was saying “I’ve got better” - as if he meant he could come up with a better lie, but choose not to.

And not, you know, that he got better from being a newt.

[–] deadbeef79000@lemmy.nz 3 points 2 months ago (2 children)

... Uuh, that might actually be The Real Joke.

Amazing

[–] Two9A@lemmy.world 5 points 2 months ago (1 children)

You got downvoted as though you were posting a thatsthejoke.jpg, but I also had never considered that "I got better!" could have layers to it.

[–] deadbeef79000@lemmy.nz 2 points 2 months ago

layers

That's the word I was looking for!

[–] Monument@lemmy.sdf.org 2 points 2 months ago

Well now I don’t know what to believe, but I’m very okay with being told that I was right all along!

[–] Resonosity@lemmy.world 3 points 2 months ago

Burn the witch!

[–] yonder@sh.itjust.works 19 points 2 months ago (1 children)

My poor, poor, composition!

[–] filcuk@lemmy.zip 8 points 2 months ago

Honestly haha, crop from both sides would need a next level photoahop ninja though so I get it

[–] IllIIllIllIIIIl@programming.dev 15 points 2 months ago

The point of submitting the image is to get a funny response.

[–] Assman@sh.itjust.works 13 points 2 months ago (1 children)

What if I told you the amusing edit is the entire point

[–] NeptuneOrbit@lemmy.world 9 points 2 months ago (3 children)

Yeah but what kind of moron can't crop their own photo, and instead makes themselves look like an asshole

[–] jj4211@lemmy.world 7 points 2 months ago

Because the people submitting to him know the whole deal. I'd say the requestor was trying to go for an easy setup of having the main character "trash lady" deleted as the joke.

Or it could even be all fabricated and there's no "requestor" at all.

[–] DoucheBagMcSwag@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 points 2 months ago

Yeah she's doing this to advertise her socials. She knows what he's going to do

[–] afraid_of_zombies@lemmy.world 7 points 2 months ago

Who are you who are so wise in the ways of science?

[–] verity_kindle@sh.itjust.works 53 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago) (1 children)

Surely Sara Vos is just trolling herself, i.e., she wants to see an example of fjamie's artistry? Not really a shallow request for attention?

[–] The_Picard_Maneuver@lemmy.world 81 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago) (2 children)

Oh yeah, I imagine (or hope) most people submitting photos to him are just wanting to see what goofy thing he does with it.

[–] Klear@lemmy.world 15 points 2 months ago

IIRC he sends over the real edit as well.

[–] pop@lemmy.ml 9 points 2 months ago (1 children)

ya, it's all totally real and none of it is faked for marketing purposes to get more attention to their account at all… nope

Some people really do believe everything on the internet.

[–] stebo02@lemmy.dbzer0.com 5 points 2 months ago

and we should care because?

[–] GraniteM@lemmy.world 40 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Above the guy in the white shirt with blue stripes on the right side of the image there was a person wearing an orange shirt way in the distance, and he edited the orange out there as well and I salute the commitment.

[–] FlihpFlorp@lemm.ee 8 points 2 months ago

Apart from all the trash you now have me looking at them like those spot the difference books

[–] Kusimulkku@lemm.ee 29 points 2 months ago (1 children)

I was expecting the requester to be shopped out of it, but that would've been too obvious

[–] jj4211@lemmy.world 15 points 2 months ago

Yeah, I think the requestor was aiming for that, but I think the guy tries to sidestep the most obvious response when he thinks it's too obvious.

[–] apocalypticat@lemmy.world 18 points 2 months ago

My version: Trash removed

[–] Winco@lemmy.sdf.org 15 points 2 months ago

Ah, clever.

[–] Railcar8095@lemm.ee 12 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Where did the guy that was behind the trash lady came from? Is it AI filled? The head seems to match perfectly.

And its Plaza de la Reina, in Valencia, Spain

[–] Gloomy@mander.xyz 6 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago) (1 children)

No, you can see him behind her in the background in the original. I think this is made without AI, AFAIK this was a thing way before AI.

[–] Railcar8095@lemm.ee 1 points 2 months ago

Where's the complete person in the original picture? I see head, arm and a foot, and those are in the same exact place, so where is the rest coming from? Another picture that's not on the post? Stock person? AI?

[–] samus12345@lemmy.world 1 points 2 months ago (2 children)

Why would not picking up the trash damage the tiles on the ground?

[–] drunkpostdisaster@lemmy.world 7 points 2 months ago (1 children)

She was also the repair lady.

[–] samus12345@lemmy.world 3 points 2 months ago

She better be paid well!

[–] meliaesc@lemmy.world 5 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Never seen the floors of a hoarder's house? They are decimated by the weight, rats, and bugs that live in the waste.

[–] samus12345@lemmy.world -1 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Yeah, but those are usually wood or carpet, not stone tiles.

[–] deadbeef79000@lemmy.nz 2 points 2 months ago

Have hoarder in-laws, they have broken tile flooring.

Anecdotally proven ;-)
