Ukrainian First Lady Olena Zelenska urged international organisations to take responsibility and called for "tangible answers" to help restore peace in Ukraine.

The systematic deportation of Ukrainian children has been the most painful thing to watch during Russia's war in Ukraine, Ukraine's First Lady Olena Zelenska said.

[...]

"The taking of 19,000 children to Russia is an act witnessed by the world that met with inadequate action," she said.

"[...] We must critically evaluate the effectiveness of international organisations and their responses, or rather their inaction," said the Ukrainian first lady during her presentation.

Yes, abducting 19K children from another nation and putting them up for adoption in your country is genocide.

In comparison, 4.2M Ukrainian refugees have been given amnesty throughout the EU, and are free to leave when they’d like.

If Russia was truly “trying to protect children from a war zone,” the children would not be put up for adoption, but given temporary refuge where they could leave at their own will or by coordinating with the Ukrainian government.

If Russia was truly “trying to protect children from a war zone,”

Then Russia never would have invaded.

I agree. That’s just the counterargument I often see.

And Lvova-Belova, who acted as a face of this program from the russian side and actually said they do so and gave numbers, is wanted in Geneve, yet there's no one to take her there yet. She's betting hard on never being charged. She'd be turned over once it gets hot for her and other henchmen, but when would this moment come?
