Gangs and authoritarianism are tightly linked. Stalin was a gang member, high ranking Nazis were gang members, Putin's regime is run by gangs, and Trump likely had business dealings with the Italian mafia in NYC in the 70s/80s. Organized crime is inherently political.
It's worth mentioning that the only difference between Comanches and Foxtrot is that Comanches is mostly white. They both deal drugs and kill people.
