We recently did an update to 0.19.5

Along with this came a bug that makes hidden communities not function properly so that they will still appear in the all feed

I have reported this on the lemmy repo and once the devs fix that bug our all feeds should go back to normal (but for now content such as politics and bot communities may appear for a bit)

Heres the bug report if anyones interested in that https://github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy/issues/5074

Interesting, thanks!

I wonder if it's somewhat related. But I started to see posts from blocked communities in both Home and All feeds. This seemed to me like a bug on Voyager client and I reported it there. I switched to Jerboa now, seems to work.

But I still wonder, maybe it's specific to client but also related to this, depends on how interaction with server is programmed...

~~Yeah I'm on voyager too and home stopped working for me at the same time as this hidden community issue. Home and All are literally the same feed now. Curious if these issues are related.~~

Lol it refused to post this reply until I logged out then back in, whereupon the issue was fixed. Guess that answers that.

Is this why my subscribed feed is basically empty now? I go 8 hours without a new post. And a lot of the posts I do see have only a single upvote when I'd expect dozens.

There's only been a single Star Wars post ever.

If this is being worked on, that's cool. But I haven't seen any mention.
