I guess that's something. As a leader of a department that ought to be about protecting and serving the public, I kinda wanted more punishment for him. And now he's backpetaling the comment, with a bit of a wink to those who agree with him. What's said is said.

Really, I'd love to see the gymnastics involved to explain how he meant for it to be interpreted...
