Immigrants are the backbone and lifeblood of America.

Nazis are the opposite and offer nothing but bile and self-loathing.

[–] Late2TheParty@lemmy.world 22 points 2 months ago (3 children)

I mean, Nazis are good for kindling, right?

[–] CosmicTurtle0@lemmy.dbzer0.com 36 points 2 months ago (2 children)

Eh....I really wouldn't want to smell all that fat.

They are good guillotine tests.

With their lack of melanin they do tend to burn easily.

[–] HappycamperNZ@lemmy.world 5 points 2 months ago

I think they go better as the long burn log to toss on once its already going. Moreover if you can stack a few up.

[–] Blum0108@lemmy.world 18 points 2 months ago

They're the leukemia poisoning the marrow.

members of the group pointed guns at cars and told people to “go the fuck back to Africa”

Wow, way to highlight that you are a completely ignorant douchebag

[–] whyNotSquirrel@sh.itjust.works 36 points 2 months ago

why, it's easy: "Not white, not Chinese then Africa!"

[–] HappycamperNZ@lemmy.world 18 points 2 months ago

Hope they get shot - this is literally the logic for a conceal carry.

[–] TheTechnician27@lemmy.world 8 points 2 months ago

"Charitably", I assume because they're massive racists that they're referring to the West and Central African origins of Haitians as an ethnic group and not confusing where Haiti is, but Nazis still deserve to be jailed over their disgusting ideology regardless of if they know what continent Haiti is on.

[–] MyOpinion@lemm.ee 64 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago) (28 children)

You know what Nazis bring to your town? Garbage. I don't know why this is difficult. The Nazi symbol should be banned from all public use and Nazis should be arrested and held as enemies of the state.

[–] Neon@lemmy.world -1 points 2 months ago (2 children)

enemies of the state

Arresting enemies of the state?

Well, the Nazis would certainly agree with that.

[–] explodicle@sh.itjust.works 7 points 2 months ago (1 children)

You're assuming they want to apply rules consistently and fairly. When the out-group is them, they'll whine about freeze peach until we tolerate their intolerance.

[–] LifeInMultipleChoice@lemmy.world 2 points 2 months ago

Yes, I assume all sovereign nations have laws against enemies of the state. Ours are specified in the constitution. The sentencing is laid out in or laws as well. Existing as a NAZI doesn't qualify, but acting as a NAZI very well might qualify you depending on the acts.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stochastic_terrorism

Stochastic terrorism is political violence that has been instigated by hostile public rhetoric which is directed at a group or an individual. Unlike incitement to terrorism, stochastic terrorism is accomplished by using indirect, vague, or coded language that allows the instigator to plausibly disclaim responsibility for the resulting violence.[1] A key element is the use of social media and other distributed forms of communications where the person who carries out the violence has no direct connection to the users of violent rhetoric.[2]

[–] FlyingSquid@lemmy.world 22 points 2 months ago (1 children)

This isn't stochastic terrorism. This is just terrorism. They are trying to terrorize the Haitians into leaving Springfield:

In December, a Springfield man was sentenced to 20 years in federal jail for hate crimes after attacking eight Haitians earlier in 2023. Last year, the local Haitian church was broken into and damaged twice. Longtime Black residents of Springfield have reported being verbally abused when walking on the city’s streets, having been confused with members of the Haitian community.

[–] Samvega@lemmy.blahaj.zone 13 points 2 months ago (1 children)

The stochastic terrorism is the wild claims infrahumanising certain groups on social media. Then someone decides to act on those claims, and the people who posted them say "I had no idea that would happen".

Rinse and repeat until you've made the world worse, then die with lots of money.

[–] FlyingSquid@lemmy.world 8 points 2 months ago

Right, but we're at the acting stage now. It's now just straight up terrorism.
