Looks like the 'uglification' of female characters is real.

Nothing was confirmed other than two artists saying they've had push backs on their models. Also, just play a game. There's plenty of attractive women in games. Sorry if not literally every single woman looks like a supermodel anymore.

Also odd that the title directly contradicts itself by saying it's specifically black women, in their experience, which would be an entirely different issue.

Also odd that the article mentions The Last of Us Pt 2. That game has a lot of conventionally attractive women. I assume they're talking about one character in particular. And she wasn't made less attractive, she's just a butchy woman. That's pretty core to her character.

Odd that they didn't mention the new Fable which is where I've heard the most whining. Then again I've heard whining from Stellar Blade of all games.

Who is the Batman character they're complaining about anyways? Is it Harley? Wtf are they getting at with that pic?

What I’m reading is that Black and Asian women can only be attractive when they conform to western beauty standards: petite features, small frames, perfect proportions.

Considering that some games these days use the likenesses of actual people to create their characters, it disgusts me that some random guy out there gets to be the deciding voice on beauty.

He seems to be pretty hung up on that one guys girlfriend though…

Hilarious that you basement dwelling trolls think that's an unattractive woman

Does it? Because we're still solidly on the side of the vast majority of women in games being attractive, even in the games where the examples come from.
