I've got access to the game on steam, the game feels very alpha stage at the moment. There's already a good roster of characters to choose from and the style is interesting.

Alpha is about what I would expect at this stage. They'll probably be experimenting with game mechanics for a while yet, and they state right up front that much of the art is temporary.

Has anything stood out for you so far as particularly interesting or fun?

Honestly at this moment it's the style they are going for. It's difficult to describe, it's kind of old timey tech noir. The base gameplay feels very similar to SMITE.

Woo, maybe Shrine Wars will be coming out soonish!

... Har har! 'Used to love that game 😅

It is, but you must be invited to playtest it.

Shot in the dark, but if anyone has it and wants to invite, I would be super happy about it :D

DM me your generated steam quick invite link and I'll hook you up. Once your name is submitted for an invite, check the email associated with your steam account. They state it takes 1-2 days (or more) but most people seem to be within the hour.
