The Lemmy place to discuss veganism.

Veganism is a philosophy and way of living which seeks to exclude—as far as is possible and practicable—all forms of exploitation of, and cruelty to, animals for food, clothing or any other purpose; and by extension, promotes the development and use of animal-free alternatives for the benefit of animals, humans and the environment. In dietary terms it denotes the practice of dispensing with all products derived wholly or partly from animals.

We hope that something can be done for them. This is unacceptable!

I have a coating that both protects me from UV in a hot climate and has a pattern in it that birds can see. I know some people really don't like it but I don't mind having some darkened bars go across my windows. So something can be done about it but we have to convince people it matters

Ah, good idea, I'll see if I can do the same or similar, could you point me in the direction of where to get some?

Easiest to implement is the spray https://www.amazon.com/WindowAlert-Anti-Collision-Deterrent-Prevent-Buildings/dp/B00CEC42FG you can stencil on patterns with this. I use something called Bird Drivert https://designerfilms.com/product/bird-divert/ which has a newer dot pattern, I have bars but I live in a desert and also want the UV protection.
