This particular one is in Texas, but I remember similar ones from growing up in Florida in the 80s and 90s. I also remember the brightest green katydids you ever saw.

I hadn't seen any of these for probably a decade and all of a sudden this year I see them all over the place. It made me kind of happy that they seem to be doing better.
