Square Enix opened pre-orders on its online e-store for a Dragon Quest slime plush that doubles as a cleaner for smartphone, tablets, and PC screens. The slime cleaner plush costs 1,188 yen (or about $8) and is expected to release in Japan on October 19, 2024.

Wrong link? It goes to a page with final fantasy merch

Edit: the link was changed very shortly after posting and I don't think it federated out to Fedia. The correct URL is https://www.siliconera.com/dragon-quest-slime-plush-doubles-as-tablet-and-pc-cleaner/

Sorry about that. The website has that absolute shit pattern where when you scroll to the end of an article it shows you another one and changes the URL. So by the time I was done reading it and copied the URL to share it on Lemmy, it had changed.
