Harris's party is predominantly center-right. They believe in capitalism, private land ownership, individual rights, a limited role for government in regulating the economy, and the rest of the liberal-democratic consensus.

The leftmost faction within her party, the DSA, are social-democrats, a center-left position.

There are no revolutionary socialists among US federal elected officials. The notion that the Democratic Party is "leftist" is a fantasy of the far right.
