It's a little sad that we need to actually say this, but:

Don't be an asshole or you will be permanently banned.

Respectful debate is totally OK, criticizing a product is fine, but being verbally abusive will not be tolerated.

Focus on discussing the idea, not attacking the person.

One thing that really caught my attention with this list is the abysmal warranty offered by these companies.

The majority offer 1 year on the entire bike.

Tern offers the most with 5 or 10 year on the frame.

But for an ebike, these short warranty periods are a massive red flag for me. These electric bikes are more complex compared to an analogue bike, so their warranties should be more robust: lifetime on the frame, 10 years on the motor/electronics, 5 year on the battery, and 2 years on stuff like the pedals and fenders/racks would be a minimum to start with.

Especially on something like an ecargo bike, which someone might be using as a car replacement. 1 year warranty is a joke.

A 1 year warranty tells me the company has no faith in their product.

Which is a serious concern when it's a vehicle that may injure or kill the rider if it fails. These aren't toys or everyday electronics like headphones. My bluetooth headphones have a crap warranty but they don't propel me down the road at 35kph+
