I hope Ukranians don't overextend when all they do is want to divert Russian troops, as Russia has many more reserves. Only advantage is this front wasn't prepared by Russians for an attack so they are surprised

Russia does not have massive reserves. They have moved all they have to the Ukranian border and it looks like most of it into Ukraine directly. They are currently moving units from the Charkiw front to Kursk.

A little nitpick: Agentstvo (Agency) is oppositional massmedia tho, you can't access them without a VPN if not via TG or other means. I'm yet to see major media to assess the damage, most of the news now are about dead-or-burnt milblogger Poddubny. In official news on TV there's no war in Basing-se, and the fight takes place on the border.
