I've been playing the demo. It's decent, and to be clear, I grew up with simcity 89 and have been playing all versions since, so I'm right there with you.

I really like the look and the feel and the concept, but they need to get demand sorted out. Currently, similar to my main qualm with cities skylines, the "drive/motivation," isn't quite there yet.

Maybe it's just me, but like, in glory days of Simcity 4, you'd kinda ride this razor edge of efficiency where you planned out neighborhoods and commerce and industry and did it all around staying in the black. I need that feedback loop and not just, "sandbox," as my motivator. Again, maybe it's just me.
