Holy shit they look scared. Our guy is a convicted felon rapist? Alright what dirt did you find? She has empathy?? Alright well run with that.

[–] Xeroxchasechase@lemmy.world 16 points 1 month ago

Empathy is the most scary thing for MAGA. No sarcasm, it's literally the antidote to their poison.

[–] DogPeePoo@lemm.ee 73 points 1 month ago (4 children)

I challenge anyone to find a picture of Laura Ingraham with her mouth closed.

It simply cannot be done.

She’s so fucking weird.

[–] capt_wolf@lemmy.world 29 points 1 month ago

Remember, reptiles can't sweat, so occasionally they'll just keep their mouths open to release heat and cool down...

[–] AbidanYre@lemmy.world 14 points 1 month ago

Even more weird, it's very easy to find a picture of her giving a Nazi salute.

[–] RIPandTERROR@sh.itjust.works 9 points 1 month ago

So I know it was hyperbole but I wanted to see how bad it was myself and I had to use AI for about 5 minutes before I was able to find one.

Confirmed, she is weird.

[–] catloaf@lemm.ee -2 points 1 month ago

I did a Google search for "Laura Ingraham" and the first picture had her mouth closed. A few others did too.

But I'm not sure why you'd find it weird. Her job is talking on TV, so any action shot is going to involve her speaking. Any stills would probably have her smiling.

Current Republican attacks on Harris: She laughs, she hugs people, she's black.

I'm starting to think they're fucked and they know it.

[–] toomanypancakes@lemmy.world 52 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago) (3 children)

Personally, I love hugs. I love them from friends, coworkers, and anyone who wants to reciprocate that I feel any attachment to.

This is such a weak attack. But then, that's kinda the Republican mantra, isn't it? Being weird and weak.

[–] NegativeInf@lemmy.world 31 points 1 month ago (2 children)

If the vice president hugged me, I feel like it would be a dope memory. Unless it was pence. Or Cheney. Or Quayle. Or...

[–] somethingsnappy@lemmy.world 12 points 1 month ago

Shook Bill Clinton's hand at college graduation. Still tell the story many years later. He said, "congratulations, man."

[–] cmbabul@lemmy.world 5 points 1 month ago

I’d hug Quayle way before Cheney, you might survive a hug from Dan but Dick would for sure crush you to death with his cyborg body

[–] FlyingSquid@lemmy.world 7 points 1 month ago

I'm not much of a hugger, it's awkward to me when anyone but close friends and relatives do it, but this is still a weird as fuck attack.

I've literally never heard anyone call hugging as a bad thing.

[–] cubism_pitta@lemmy.world 6 points 1 month ago

Fuck man, I will hug me some strangers if they are offering. Who doesn’t love some strange?

[–] SeaJ@lemm.ee 41 points 1 month ago (1 children)

She can’t hold a press conference or answer reporters’ questions.

Is she confusing Harris for Trump? Trump when several months with no press conferences. He regularly dodges questions by calling the person asking it 'nasty' if it is a woman or 'dumb' if they are black.

[–] FlyingSquid@lemmy.world 13 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

In his most recent interview with the press, where he decided to be racist in front of a bunch of black people, he almost refused to do if they were going to fact check him.

[–] Lucidlethargy@sh.itjust.works 28 points 1 month ago (2 children)

So she laughs too much, and she hugs people. That's the worst I've heard about Harris so far from the conservatives I know.

They might as well have a problem with Mr. Rogers at this point.

[–] callouscomic@lemm.ee 17 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

I'm so sorry to do this to you, but July 2007, Fox News called Mr. Rogers an evil man:

[–] enbyecho@lemmy.world 7 points 1 month ago

That’s the worst I’ve heard about Harris so far from the conservatives I know.

Oh rest assured they do far far worse. DEI hire, slept her way to the top... all the hits from the same old show.

[–] Bonesince1997@lemmy.world 23 points 1 month ago (1 children)

So what. Trump hugs flags. And I'm pretty sure his dick is out touching the flag each time he does it. Just to fuck over America in a literal sense.

[–] RestrictedAccount@lemmy.world 12 points 1 month ago (1 children)
[–] Reverendender@sh.itjust.works 3 points 1 month ago

Honestly it was one of the weirdest things I’ve ever seen anyone do

[–] Etterra@lemmy.world 22 points 1 month ago

She's just jealous that she hasn't had physical affection since her dad died.

[–] Zier@fedia.io 12 points 1 month ago

Laura is the poster child of all uptight, unattractive white women everywhere.

[–] Ghostalmedia@lemmy.world 11 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago) (1 children)

Lots of pictures on the web of past Biden, Obama, and even Bush hugging the people they work with and serve.

Ingraham mostly only has public pictures of her hugging Trump, because she’s weird.

[–] FlyingSquid@lemmy.world 6 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Hug, nothing. Those old enough- remember this?

No, that is not a Photoshop. That's Dubya's dear, sweet friend prince Bandar bin Sultan Al Saud of Saudi Arabia. That's just something they did. In front of cameras.

[–] tamal3@lemmy.world 7 points 1 month ago

I searched for images with "George Bush kiss" to find more info... But he has kissed an AWFUL lot of people on camera. Golly gee.

[–] don@lemm.ee 9 points 1 month ago

lmao republicans are so fuuuuuuuuucked

[–] Hobbes_Dent@lemmy.world 7 points 1 month ago (1 children)

It’s so shit that the high school cool kids are still at it huh? And that people seemingly want it.

[–] ptz@dubvee.org 25 points 1 month ago (2 children)

I can't think of a single high profile Republican that doesn't give off "peaked in high school" energy. Not one.

[–] Infynis@midwest.social 11 points 1 month ago (1 children)

People say the geeks inherit the Earth, but actually, the bullies have owned it for a long time, and, just like the American School system, we don't have any teachers to step in

[–] ptz@dubvee.org 3 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

We just gotta step away from our awesome lives every so often and show up to vote :)

[–] solsangraal@lemmy.zip 4 points 1 month ago

single high profile Republican that doesn’t give off “peaked in high school” energy

that species went extinct when mccain died

[–] pete_the_cat@lemmy.world 5 points 1 month ago

Why does every "anchor" on Fox News have that certain diction/inflection where it's like they're asking a question and ending it mid-sentence, but then decided to continue? I thought it was specific to Tucker, but I guess not

[–] Viking_Hippie@lemmy.world 4 points 1 month ago

I bet she loves it when her fellow fascist creep Modi hugs everyone he wants something from, though..
