Had anyone ever thought of this guy in 20 years?

Feel like he’s hurt his cause with this stunt. Would’ve been safer in obscurity.

I actually saw his name a few weeks ago. I can't remember why, but I was looking up who was incarcerated in the ADX Florence supermax prison and he's one of the people there.

And I had that reaction then- "I haven't thought about that guy in 20 years." Weird sort of coincidence.

Remember the shoe bomber, Richard Reid? He's also there.

'The terrorist wrote in his letter that he was warned by an attorney and a professor “that US law permit the US President to sentence to death any federal prisonneer [sic] deem to be a threat to National security.”'

He says that the President can do this, but it's something I've never heard of and I can't find anything to back his claim up. Is this even true?

Edit: Seems like something the author should have verified as well.

I don’t know as though that is a law, but with the new Supreme Court ruling on presidential immunity, it is a valid possibility. If “murdering your political rivals” is on the table, then “sentencing a terrorist to death” is probably covered.
