From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).

Distributions include the Linux kernel and supporting system software and libraries, many of which are provided by the GNU Project. Many Linux distributions use the word "Linux" in their name, but the Free Software Foundation uses the name GNU/Linux to emphasize the importance of GNU software, causing some controversy.

Hi,

I've been trying to use an old Huawei MediaPad M3 Lite 10 as a second monitor. I followed this blog post and it worked, but with bad delay. It's ok for static contents, but videos are a pain.

I switched to AVNC as a VNC viewer because it works with tight encoding and it's way better thant RVNC Viewer (recommended in the blog post).

So I tried to connect to the tablet via USB, but I can't get it to run and need help.

I run the server with x11vnc and run the command: adb reverse tcp:5900 tcp:5901 but both VNC viewers cannot connect to the server.

Developer mode and USB Debugging is activated on my tablet Ports 5900 and 5901 are unblocked in my firewall.

What am I missing?
