In my opinion, the low fertility rate is a sign that Millenials and Gen Z feel that society is not working for them and id making everyday life difficult. Why have children and make their lives, along with the lives of their children, harder?

It's not the economy, stupid. The economy is just fine. It's that the benefits of said economy are not getting applied to the working class.
