Mr. Amery told The Globe and Mail that he and Mr. Mraiche have been friends for "a very long time." He confirmed they are related and, when pressed for details, said he and Mr. Mraiche are "loosely related" through marriage. Mr. Amery is Alberta's top lawyer and his department is involved in defending the government in a civil case filed earlier this year, as well as overseeing the province's prosecution service, which would be involved if a criminal case arises from the RCMP investigation.

They both happen to come from the same small town in Lebanon, but say loosely know each other through marriage, come on, this is so blatantly corrupt...

I guess if you look at the math here is a 4 billion in 1 chance it's a coincidence... Two people from across the world just happened to come together working in another country... to corrupt ends to benefit them both.
