Fair enough, but if I were the photo editor for Boden, I'd have questioned whether the model's pose draws adequate attention to the style and colour of the trousers more than it does to the fact she may have pissed herself.

Could be a print medium/ink issue. Might look completely fine on their monitor, but worse when printed. Usually these designers have things color-corrected so they can preview what a print would look like more accurately, but it isn't always perfect (or the printer may have changed some process/material without them knowing).
