Linux
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).
Distributions include the Linux kernel and supporting system software and libraries, many of which are provided by the GNU Project. Many Linux distributions use the word "Linux" in their name, but the Free Software Foundation uses the name GNU/Linux to emphasize the importance of GNU software, causing some controversy.

Awesome :)
Previously i3, now sway. It's quite simplistic but has been working really well and doesn't get in my way. From what I've heard hyprland seems really enticing but all the graphical effects might be too much for me. I'm not sure if it makes sense if I end up disabling all animations and have it look like stock i3.
I'm relatively new to the Linux community since November last year. I'm currently only using Wayland based window compositors mutter on my desktop and hyprland on my laptop. I'm often interested in using kwin in gnome because it has way more features like the xwaylandvideobridge.
HYPRLAND !
Need to figure out making it work with nvidia 😭
In the wiki is a subsection for nvidia users
Xnonad for over a decade now (with almost the same config)
EXWM. I am a longtime Emacs user so merging the concepts of Emacs buffers and X windows is a huge benefit. Only one set of keybindings to worry about, all of my Emacs window management stuff works for X windows too. One less external dependency to worry about too. In a new environment (like when starting a new job etc) as long as I have my Emacs config I am good to go.
