Data isn't really weighted the same.

There's loads of encrypted data in data centers for cold storage for years and years. There's loads of video files, movies, TV shows, documentaries, security camera footage (all these video doorbells).

You can compare a 30GB Blu-ray copy of The Matrix vs the entirety of Wikipedia and Project Gutenberg. The value of that data is incomparable.

Are you referring to the value of the storage medium itself, or the value of the data being stored?
