AI Generated (but IMO a decent result):

Verse 1:
I was rollin' down the highway, just a man and his machine
Thought I'd found forever in that chrome and gasoline
But one dark night she left me, without a single word
Now I'm sittin' here wonderin' how it all got so absurd

Chorus:
My self-drivin' truck, she up and drove away
Left me in the dust, like a shadow in the gray
She took the open road, left my heart behind
My self-drivin' truck, she's got a mind of her own kind

Verse 2:
We'd travel through the sunsets, where the sky kissed the land
A man and his machine, thought we'd always make a stand
But now the cab is empty, her seat is cold and bare
I never thought I'd lose her, thought she'd always be there

Chorus:
My self-drivin' truck, she up and drove away
Left me in the dust, like a shadow in the gray
She took the open road, left my heart behind
My self-drivin' truck, she's got a mind of her own kind

Bridge:
I see her tail lights fading, like a dream that's out of reach
No more late-night conversations, just the silence I beseech
Guess I took for granted, she'd always tow the line
Now I'm chasin' memories down this broken dotted line

Chorus:
My self-drivin' truck, she up and drove away
Left me in the dust, like a shadow in the gray
She took the open road, left my heart behind
My self-drivin' truck, she's got a mind of her own kind

Outro:
Now I'm just a lonely trucker, with no rig to call my own
A wanderer on these highways, forevermore alone
My self-drivin' truck, she's out there somewhere free
While I'm left here rememberin' what we used to be

Holy cow I could definitely hear a country singer's voice! Who is techsavvy enough to use ai to turn this into an actual song?

They already have self-driving tractors that are locked down by John Deere so not a far fetch reality there.

One late payment and John Deer sends a command to drive to the nearest dealer. I'd start leaving my vehicles nearly out of fuel if that started happening.

Watch them start putting in a reserve power supply (batteries or some such) to thwart this.

Cowboys are starting to tie the wheels of their machines together. Lasso is always in reach to catch the runaway.

That makes my mind go to keeping their equipment in pens, like concrete block wall pens. Right next to the livestock so it can’t escape.

And that’s a really silly idea, but probably not all that far off.

With the rise of AI companions it’s only a matter of time until there’s a country song about how their robot girlfriend broke down.
