Replacement for r/steamdeck_linux.

As Lemmy doesn't have flairs yet, you can use these prefixes to indicate what type of post you have made, eg:
[Flair] My post title

The following is a list of suggested flairs:
[Discussion] - General discussion.
[Help] - A request for help or support.
[News] - News about the deck.
[PSA] - Sharing important information.
[Game] - News / info about a game on the deck.
[Update] - An update to a previous post.
[Meta] - Discussion about this community.

Some more Steam Deck specific flairs:
[Boot Screen] - Custom boot screens/videos.
[Selling] - If you are selling your deck.

These are not enforced, but they are encouraged.

I already have a steam deck. But, I am thinking of getting a PS5 for the games that can’t run on the deck or would be better played on a console. Is this a silly idea? Redundant? I would have a steam deck and a pS5.

I would need to get a tv/monitor to go with the console.

I’m not in a position to get a PC or build one, hence, the steam deck.

OP: I have bought multiple consoles in my life, each and everyone with the same problem, the games cost a shitton and you almost have to start over buying them, so i just ended up with a couple of games and the console standing around in standby for months and years.

The Steamdeck brings my main library into the game, which i have filled for decades, that thing is such a money saver it's not even funny.

First think about how you really feel about buying those games again or if you only buy new ones, being able to play them on one device.

That might help you.
