Defintely not glitchless, but still legitimate (in a way).
The rules on the speedrun.com page for Noita mention the exploit, but for any% you need to count any runs to acquire the wand as well, making it pretty pointless. I also don't think that you need a mod for the wand, just that doing it normally takes too long.
Apparently they are creating a category specifically for this exploit, so that it doesn't matter how you got the wand, and the 2s run would count.
I definitely feel like it's interesting. But it kind of ignores much of the point of speed running if it requires either a mod or the results of previous runs to accomplish without accounting for that.
It would be like calling a video of the last few frames before hitting the final axe of Super Mario Bros representative of an entire run.
The 2 seconds is a valid part of a complete run.
I actually think that items carrying over from one run to another makes it much more interesting in this case.
For me, speedrunning means completing the game as fast as possible, no matter what (within the means of the game). I don't care about glitches, exploits or bugs, that are abused. How the community ultimately decides to count these things, doesn't matter to me, since I'm just a casual observer.
