Even though I care not for the spud, after Trump and the shenanigans about stolen elections, I am proud that I live somewhere where elections are called and there is some basic civility around the gracious defeat speech then the victory speech. This might be the bottle of bubbly talking...

I think we sometimes forget how good it is here compared to other Global North countries, especially in regards to elections, and our voting rights.
