Turns out the soundbar issue is easily resolved by just stealing the one from the brewery, which has an analog input. Mwaha.

But on another note, looking at a HDMI audio extractor (no arc on tv so i wanna split off a toslink) - anyone got one / used one to rec? My usual go to is selby or cable chick but inkstation has a very reasonable $20 model....

Sick! Never had a place with a basement. I think I have one or two spare kegs with the top cut off for vessels, if thats of any use to you?
